Taipei Toy Festival Report

We were just in Taipei for the annual Taipei Toy Festival. This was our first unveiling of our new line of woman’s fashion bags featuring the artwork of Camilla d’Errico. (Soon to be available in North America) The show was great! Here are a few pics of the OSO booth displays.  More to come later!

Above – pics of the crowd in front of the OSO booth and Camilla signing at the artist’s table. Check out more of Camilla’s trip photos on her blog.

Step by Step DIY with Charlene Chua

Charlene Chua made a great post on her blog about her step by step process of making her first DIY Bax Bear. See her whole process here. Very cool! See her custom Bax in person at the Toronto Bax World Tour starting this weekend!!

And as a note about her difficulties with the arms: We recommend blow drying the arm/shoulder area for a minute or two before removing the arms. Then to put them back in, warm the arm holes (not the arm pegs) then put the pegs in at an angle and turn them into the socket. A little tricky but works perfectly!

The making of giant Bax

Just awhile ago we posted a pic of the rough sculpt of the HUGE 1.2 meter Bax figure we are working on. The final sculpt is now finished and we are beginning the mold making process. This guy is going to be big! Stay tuned for updates.

Exclusive Sneak Peak!

Here’s an in progress, behind the scene look at our new huge 1.2 meter Bax bear sculpt we’re working on. We’ll have blank ones available for customizing as well as very limited edition artist run bears. Check back later for more details!
